As a skilled Faade Structural Engineer, with a minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in the design and structural analysis of aluminum, steel, and glass facades. This role involves collaboration with architects, contractors, and project teams to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of building facades, aligning with safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analysis and design of faade systems, including aluminum, steel, and glass structures.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to develop faade concepts, ensuring structural stability and aesthetic quality.
- Perform load calculations and wind pressure analysis to determine faade system requirements.
- Review project specifications and building codes to ensure compliance and quality control.
- Prepare technical drawings, sketches, and models using relevant CAD and 3D software.
- Assess material requirements and recommend cost-effective solutions for faade projects.
- Conduct on-site inspections and provide technical support during installation phases.
- Document engineering calculations and prepare reports for project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in faade engineering, specifically with aluminum, steel, and glass materials.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis software and CAD/3D modeling tools.
- In-depth understanding of faade systems, load-bearing capacities, and design codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Previous experience working on large-scale construction projects in the UAE or GCC region.
