Context
- The Lead Engineers will receive direction from the Senior Engineers on the supervision works required and will sign off appropriate inspection forms as submitted by the Contractor QC Engineers to endorse that works have been completed satisfactorily or provide comments where works require improvement or remedial works to comply with the contract.
- Promotes work personnel's awareness of compliance with Quality Environment and Safety requirements.
- Supervision of site works according to the approved drawings, work procedures, method statements and specifications.
Missions/Main Duties
- Attend the site inspections and sign off the inspection checklists.
- Raising Site Notice (SN) and Non-Compliance Notes (NCN), Ascertainment of Facts (AOF) and coordinate with the Client and Contractor's representatives to be signed off.
Profile/Skills
- Excavation, check bentonite slurry density during excavation and prior to cage installation.
- Check verticality and depth of excavation.
- Check cage installation (welding rebar & placing of spacers).
- Concrete, random inspection of concrete truck delivery, slump test cube preparation
- For slabs, walls, Pile caps and Piers:
- Inspect rebar;
- Check openings and other G inserts (conduits, lifting sockets etc.);
- Witness concreting and vibration methods;
