  • Verify packing lists and coordinate the required number and type of vehicles, executing tasks with the team.
  • Ensure all fleet requirements from clients and coordinators are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Arrange necessary trucks, manpower, and equipment before loading shipments, ensuring safe cargo handling.
  • Manage outsourced trucks and oversee their operations.
  • Issue delivery notes and ensure timely, accurate submission and job closure.
  • Submit all required documents (e.g., port delivery notes, payment receipts) after shipment delivery.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing necessary documents and reports.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics, work schedules, and monitor delivery timelines.
  • Respond to customer follow-ups, address delivery efficiency, and handle justified complaints.
  • Follow up on the renewal of required permissions and certifications for drivers and vehicles (e.g., DDC, ADSD, H2S, Zone 2).
  • Ensure the daily allocated vehicles utilization and Make sure no vehicles idle
  • Submitting Error free Daily vehicles movement reports.
  • Checking the Packing list and providing the required number of vehicles to Execute the job and type of vehicles required
  • To ensure all the fleet requirements from different clients and coordinators are fully attended without any fail in timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Sharing all the required information to the driver before they move with the cargo.
  • Before commencing any load or project, to make sure all the arrangements are in place with proper usage of required trucks/fleets with all the valid docs and permits.
  • Vehicles Asset records Maintain, Timely updating if any changes
  • Monitoring high value cargo and sharing information tracking team.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics, working schedules, and monitor delivery schedules with the team and coordinators.
  • Notifying renewal request for all Road permission, vehicles certification and drivers certification in case of near expiry.
  • Delivery Notes issuing and colleting back from drivers, ensure timely and accurate submission DN by closing all the jobs in timely manner and submitting the supporting docs to finance.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationship with all the clients and proper follow up for all ongoing jobs
  • Responding to any type of complaints or suggestions related to the operations (Load and delivery) in timely manner and finding the solution without affecting the relation with the client.
  • Driver Performance Monitoring and Reporting if any low performance drivers.
  • Fuel Cost Monitoring on each trip performed and Coordinating with Diesel Monitoring team if any Variation reported.
  • Route Survey conducting if required.
  • Following with the garage team for the vehicle maintenance and Sending Prior Notification before sending any Vehicle for Maintenance

Qualifications

Work experience required: 3 -4 years working experience in logistics or supply chain
