Job Description
Job Purpose
Starting from managing Client s Agreements, Purchase Orders (PO s), and Letters of Credit (LC s) through monitoring Cargo Inspection activities and supervising the shipping of materials till the final receiving/ delivery of the materials from/ to nominated locations; This job is designed to implement the plans, policies, and procedures of Logistics Operations division efficiently at lower cost and effectively at minimal time in the cycle of shipping documents and minimum risks.
Collects all the needed data from suppliers, service providers, and project managers to issue all pass permits related to material, fleet, and personnel.
Monitors the movement of the transportation fleet while being on the road until safely arrives to the nominated delivery sites/ locations and registers a Statement of Facts (SOF) per each vehicle.
Monitors materials receiving and inspection, shipping and tracking other logistics activities (such as: customs clearance and transportation) to ensure safe and accurate delivery of the Project's materials and/ or equipment.
Send Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to third-party logistics (3PL) .
Issues Shipping Declaration Form (SDF) to the contracted third-party logistics (3PL) .
Supervises issuing the shipping documents and receiving the consignments according to the terms and conditions set in our PO s and/ or LCs. Yet, to ensure that the shipping documents are compliant and will meet the final agreed requirements of the client.
Receives/ Collects shipping documents from couriered from suppliers including Bills of Lading (Bs/L).
Daily record of all logistics documents.
Submits weekly reports on Logistics Activities including pass permits.
Supports logistics in setting budgets of projects by calculating tariffs, duties, taxations, port fees... etc.
Any other tasks related to the flow of materials, services, and information from origin to final destination and vice versa in terms of providing solutions to achieve targets set for the assigned work/task.
Assists in evaluating the performance of service providers.
Follow up with the accounting department so that all necessary payment is done.
Assists as may be required by the supply chain manager in procurement activities such as communication with suppliers as well as receiving both their commercial and technical offers and coordinating between the technical department and the suppliers, in order to receive technical approvals for all materials.

Profile:
Education: BS.c in business, supply chain/logistics.
Years of Experience: 2+ years.
Language: English (Fluent), Arabic (mother tongue).
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
