Position: Senior Supply Chain Manager

Location: Kuwait Head Office

Type: Full-time

Job Purpose:

The Supply Chain Senior Manager is responsible for managing a team of inventory managers and officers and overseeing the end-to-end ordering cycle at ABYAT. The primary focus is to own ABYAT Supply Chain KPIs, ensure availability of products on time and within budget and to maximize customer satisfaction. The Senior Manager will coordinate cross-functionally with various departments to facilitate smooth order execution, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and provide excellent support to customers.

Responsibilities: Lead teams to

• Initiate PO with vendor and create it in SAP after reconciling
• Follow up internally to get PO fully released in the system.
• Communicate released PO details with the vendor and get acknowledged with initial readiness details.
• Follow up to finalize payment term requirements (LCs, Advance etc.)
• Follow up with the vendor until getting the readiness to arrange shipment.
• Nominate Freight forwarder for the shipment after analyzing tendering process
• Pre-Shipment follow-ups with vendors and forwarders to ensure shipment processes are managed properly.
• Create Shipments in SAP System - Inbound Creation, Shipment Creation, Cost Creation.
• Post-Shipment follow-ups with the vendor and forwarders to collect original shipment documents on time for customs clearance
• Track Shipment and updating events in the SAP system (ETD/ETA/ATP etc.)
• SABER document process for KSA Shipments.
• Settle Shipment discrepancy (Excess/ Shortage)
• Settle commercial invoice variance

Qualifications:

• Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
• Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, supply chain, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in order management or supply chain operations, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Detailed-oriented with a focus on results and achieving personal and team objectives
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
• Background knowledge of SAP system.
