Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee the supply chain operations at our MED station. The Regional Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution within the designated region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain within the designated region, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the regional supply chain and improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels at the regional level and implement inventory management best practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the regional supply chain to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze regional data and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain officers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and industry standards, at the regional level.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Maintenance to align regional supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
