Overview
- This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP**
Reports to the Task Order Manager and/or Deputy Task Order Manager. Manages the daily operation of Supply and Services Department (S&S) in support of the LOGCAP V contract. Supply & Services Director provides operational guidance and supervision to ensure compliance with the appropriate AR's and Performance Work Statement (PWS). Support capabilities include Supply Support Activities (DS Warehouse, Fuels, Class I, CMT, SASMO, SSSC, Retrograde and Central Issue Facilities and Base Life Support)
Responsibilities

- Monitors Supply and Services program production schedules and ensures all missions are executed on time and at the highest quality level possible.
- Maintains frequent contact with customers regarding Supply and Services performance and overall customer satisfaction.
- Interfaces with customer contract personnel to ensure adherence to all contractual requirements.
- Coordinates staffing requirements and technical approach for all task orders solicitations in support of cost proposal operations. Coordinates efforts to attain facilities and required infrastructure support for all task order off-site operations.
- Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
- Ensures an operating environment which promotes and foster the principles of teamwork VBSS/Quality and a sound EHS culture.
- Conducts regularly scheduled reviews with assigned programs related to on-going operations, budgets, performance measurements, VBSS/Lean initiatives, customer satisfaction, contract compliance and forecast status to determine Supply area progress toward stated goals, objectives and requirements.
- Ensures that all assigned program activities and operations are carried out in compliance with Vectrus Systems employee relations policies.
- Provide a safe and secure workplace.
- Set the example for respect, responsibility and integrity
- Provides reports on all life safety, quality, and maintenance issues
- Performs routine inspections of all maintenance sections
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- High School Degree. Bachelors degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of logistics experience with 2-3 years in a management capacity of a similar project/ department/branch related to these functions of a Directorate of Logistics (DOL) operation.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and Kuwait Driver's License are required.
- Experience:
- 8-10 years in the management of logistics programs.
- Specific experience in U.S. Army logistics management required.

- Skills:
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination/management of resources.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing quality Customer service and support. This includes Customer need assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer satisfaction.
- Knowledgeable of how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language with proficiency.
- Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related applications.
- Must possess a high degree of Military logistical support experience and expertise to effectively manage complex logistical operations within the Installation Logistics (IL) Directorate.
- Requires a collaborative work style, fostering effective cohesion, cooperation, and Teamwork.
- Secret Clearance required for exposure to sensitive information related to USG government activities and contract requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Secret Clearance
- Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
- Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
- Physical Requirements:
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
