- Work as parts of the environmental and sustainability team, practicing open communication, with a participative approach to meetings and work commitment to projects
- Understand the sustainability and environmental requirements of local legislation, international best practice and standards, and ensuring that they are complied with
- Write and illustrate environmentally sustainable planning principles, concepts, strategies, controls and guidelines
- Apply a thorough approach to all projects and delivering environmentally sustainable design solutions within accepted professional and client parameters
- Prepare and write environmental and sustainability reports for planning and design projects
- Work within multi-disciplinary teams of planners, urban designers, landscape architects and engineers to complete environmental and sustainability aspects of land development, master planning and building development projects
Provide technical environmental and sustainability expertise and administration, including sustainable land-use planning, sustainable urban and infrastructure design and sustainable building design
Requirements
Education
- Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD in Environmental Engineering or Equivalent
Experience
- 3+ years experience in environmental & sustainability design projects
