JASARA PMC is excited to announce an opening for a Sustainability Lead who will be pivotal in driving our sustainability agenda within the organization. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance sustainable practices across all projects and operations, ensuring alignment with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals for a sustainable future. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sustainability management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for implementing innovative solutions that promote environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies across JASARA's projects
- Conduct sustainability assessments to identify opportunities for reducing waste, conserving energy, and enhancing resource efficiency
- Engage and collaborate with project teams, partners, and stakeholders to incorporate sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and facilitate training programs to promote sustainability awareness and practices among employees and contractors
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reporting on sustainability initiatives, progress, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders
- Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and technologies related to sustainability and advise the organization on best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sectors
- Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability initiatives and strategies
- Strong understanding of sustainability certifications and standards (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001)
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex data to drive sustainable decision-making
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration
