B What are the key responsibilities of this role Responsibilities: OS Administration:- Manage and administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.- Install, configure, and troubleshoot OS components, patches, updates, and software packages.- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. Network Management:- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.- Monitor network traffic and address connectivity issues promptly to ensure seamless operations.- Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access and external threats. Security:- Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard systems, data, and sensitive information.- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.- Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Documentation and Reporting:- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.- Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance with industry standards. Technical Leadership and Mentoring:- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the IT team.- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system administration and security. DevOps and CI/CD: - Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps methodologies, automate deployment processes, and improve system reliability.- Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines.- Integrate monitoring and logging solutions to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and performance optimization. Spring Boot:- Provide support for applications built on Spring Boot framework.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Spring Boot applications, including configuration, deployment, and scaling. Database Administration (MSSQL):- Manage Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) databases, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.- Collaborate with application teams to ensure optimal database performance and availability.
