System Engineer

Job description / Role:

Design, install and configure servers, storage.

Monitoring, configuration, management and reporting for server, storage and systems.

Administer and support core Microsoft (Exchange, AD, and Windows Server), Cisco, Citrix, and VMware and Nutanix technologies.

Develop and implement project plans and risk assessments.

Define and document best practices and support procedures.

Experience with virtualization and cloud solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field

5 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role.

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

Proven experience developing, operating and maintaining operation systems.

Extensive knowledge of operating system and database.

Knowledge of security systems including anti-virus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems and intrusion detection and notification systems

In-depth knowledge of cloud solutions.

Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems.

Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.

Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Dependable and flexible when necessary.

Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend.

Fluent in English.
