System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect complex systems and infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.

Develop system specifications, diagrams, and documentation.

Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software systems, including servers, network devices, and operating systems.

Ensure proper integration and interoperability of system components.

Administer and maintain systems and networks, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying updates and patches.

Implement security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Optimize system performance and resource utilization through capacity planning, performance tuning, and scalability enhancements.

Conduct system performance analysis and recommend improvements.

Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure system availability and data integrity.

Test and validate backup and recovery procedures regularly.

Provide technical support and assistance to end users and IT teams to resolve system-related issues.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems and implement solutions.

Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and policies.

Conduct training sessions and workshops for IT staff and end users on system usage and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), are advantageous.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering or a related field.
