Legnano Teknoelectric Company Middle East, worldwide leader in the production of high-performance cores and laminations for transformers & reactors, is looking for its Dubai seat a skilled System Engineer with over 4 years of experience, primarily focusing on infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure systems including servers, storage, and networking.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in managing and configuring servers, storage, and networking equipment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Languages:
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Italian language is an advantage
Nice to have
- Familiarity with VMWare vSphere-related technologies
- Relevant certifications (MCSA etc)
