What are the key responsibilities of this role Responsibilities: OS Administration: - Manage and administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. - Install, configure, and troubleshoot OS components, patches, updates, and software packages. - Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. Network Management: - Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. - Monitor network traffic and address connectivity issues promptly to ensure seamless operations. - Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access and external threats. Security: - Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard systems, data, and sensitive information. - Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. - Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
