Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the recruitment strategy the University, focusing on attracting, sourcing, and hiring exceptional faculty, staff, and administrative personnel. This role requires a proactive approach to identify talent, build relationships, and enhance our employer brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the university's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and create targeted recruitment plans.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all candidates.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and partnerships with professional organizations.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
- Develop and deliver training for hiring managers on best practices in recruitment and selection.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including community organizations and educational institutions.
- Promote the university's employer brand and enhance visibility at career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and university policies related to hiring practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on higher education preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
