Job Summary:
Responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates for onboarding new hires, must understand, model and represent the ATS (applicant tracking systems) employment value proposition, identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the managers, identify potential fit through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing process and ensure a positive new hire experience throughout the hiring strategy.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build a database/pipeline of candidates and the ATS company brand.
- Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.
- Arrange pre-employment assessment, background & references screenings. Evaluation and input of our current vendors.
- Place and update all job postings in various Medias including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and staffing partners.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed.
- Respond timely to internal and external applicant situations, and applicant requests as required.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a smooth transition and a positive introduction to the company.
- Oversee off boarding processes to ensure employees have a smooth exit management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in talent acquisition or a related HR role.
- Familiarity with online job posting platforms and social media recruiting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
