What you will do
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Tax and Statutory Junior to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of experience in audit or statutory fields to grow their career in a dynamic global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of statutory financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Support the global tax compliance process, including the preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Assist in the coordination and preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in the analysis and reconciliation of financial data for tax reporting purposes.
- Support the preparation of tax provision calculations and related disclosures.
- Participate in various projects related to process improvement and system implementation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in audit or statutory financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and local statutory requirements.
- Basic knowledge of tax laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
