Teacher Auto body repair ( Denting and Painting )

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Denting and Painting Teacher to tech our students on body damage repair , painting and other relevant auto body skills . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in bodywork and painting, with the ability to teach and mentor students.

• Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bodywork and painting.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience in automotive denting and painting.

• Comprehensive knowledge of all types of paints and denting techniques.

Proficiency in using painting and denting tools.

• Excellent denting and spray-painting skills.

Fill small dents and scratches with body filler and clean and prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint and other finishes.

• Prepare cost estimates of labor and materials for automotive paint jobs.

Blend colors into adjacent panels for a better color match to existing vehicle paint.

• Work with potentially hazardous materials, ensuring attention to safety and personal protection.

Mix and spray paint and primer per work instructions.

• Clean panels in preparation for painting and priming.

Document materials used in the process to maintain traceability.

• Manage the collection, disposal, and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.

Maintain spray equipment.

• Select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment.

Provide comprehensive hands-on training in denting and painting techniques, including surface preparation, tool usage, and safety protocols.

• Ensure students practice with real vehicles and panels, receive regular assessments, and gain industry exposure through guest lectures and visits.

Emphasize practical skills, quality control, and proper documentation to prepare students for professional work.

• Qualifications:

Strong background in automotive bodywork and painting.

• Excellent communication and teaching skills.

Ability to work with and mentor students.

• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Experience with spray equipment maintenance and hazardous material management.
