This is a full-time position.
School Organization and Development:
Understand the school s policies.
Contribute to the development of school policies
Contribute to staff meetings and training events
Take a role of responsibility within the TA community
Liase with parents and share information that is relevant to individual children.
Skills
Has completed appropriate and relevant additional training Skills.
Have a very good level of knowledge and understanding of at least one particular area of
learning such as literacy, maths, Learning Support
Present relevant information to other adults working in school.
Be able to and want to acquire new skills.
Be able to and want to take some responsibility for planning own work.
Exercise initiative.
Take independent action.
Personal Qualities
Be able to act independently of the teacher and to use initiative when appropriate.
Be committed to the team and always put the needs of the pupils and the school first.

Experience
Have experience as a teaching assistant.
Has demonstrated the ability to carry out the roles and responsibilities of Teaching Assistant to an exceptionally high level.
