As the Design Technical Lead - Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the technical design aspects of high-profile hospitality projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing hospitality spaces that align with luxury brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead the technical design process for hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design team, ensuring excellence in delivery.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
Design Development:
- Oversee the development of detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications for hospitality projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
- Review and approve design documentation to ensure accuracy, constructability, and alignment with the project vision.
- Collaborate with the creative design team to translate conceptual designs into actionable technical solutions.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety, sustainability, and hospitality industry standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and technical reviews to monitor project progress and resolve design-related challenges.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and external consultants to align design objectives with broader project goals.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on hospitality projects.
- Proven track record of delivering luxury hospitality projects from concept to completion.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations in the UAE.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
