Job Description
We are seeking mid- and senior-level technical specialists in the following areas:
Climate change adaptation/resilience
Water governance
Environmental policy
Water engineering (wastewater and water supply)
Hydrology
Water management
Science communication
Qualifications sought include:
At least a bachelor s degree or license in a relevant field, master s preferred;
5+ years of professional experience of increasing responsibility;
Experience working with USAID preferred;
Experience working with government institutions, international donors, or local organizations in the Middle East and/or North Africa region;
Experience working with the Government of Egypt is an asset;
In-depth knowledge of Egypt's regulatory and policy environment (for certain positions);
Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with government officials, NGOs/grantees, local media, the private sector, and other donors;
Demonstrated management/supervisory experience (for certain positions);
Demonstrated adaptive leadership skills, versatility, and integrity;
Strong writing and interpersonal skills;
Fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English are required.
