Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
Analyze, plan, organize, and support all Wireline operations and work to drive higher adoption levels by the customers of Weatherford services, based on the needs expressed by the client and/or the operations team, from job planning phase into implementation.
The role is responsible and accountable for the overall Wireline technical services, identifying gaps and opportunities to drive business and operational improvement.
As a subject matter expert for the product line, the position is responsible for supporting KSAB operations in areas such as job planning, job performance, client service delivery reviews, technical support and field queries, new technology implementation, technology sustaining, critical project oversight, as well as other business necessary activities.
OPERATIONS
Acts as the liaison between the Aramco, Wireline Management and R&D/Sustaining Engineering for operations support including field testing and product launch.
Technical Wireline expert in the Geozone for the new technology.
Ability to articulate and develop clear value propositions based on the new technology business case.
Assist with commercial proposals and value propositions are delivered with adequate technical support information.
Monitor adequate resources are in place to properly field test and launch the new technology.
Identifies candidate wells and work with customers to ensure the field test objectives are met.
Supports Operations, as required during field test, including participating in RTOC (Real time Operating Center) and rig site operations.
Provides technical input/support into all new product/service-related incidents, following up on corrective actions and evaluation the success of these actions.
Monitors and contribute with the operational performance statistics/KPIs of the new product, providing feedback to Geozone Wireline Manager
Provides feedback/supporting materials to Training/Development team for Field Engineer and Sales training.
Reviews all field test results with the customers when required.
Supports Geozone Wireline Manager to develop and execute the business plan for the new product for the Geozone.
Gathers customer feedback to further improve the product/service.
Support all product upgrade/development and implementation initiatives.
Ensures Lessons Learned as the products are delivered to the clients and are communicated internally in the GEOZONE as well as to the Global Wireline Manager to implement corrective actions.
Provide direct, high-level support to customers for critical new technology services.
Generate technical papers and case histories to promote the new service.
Responsible for ensuring publishing and distributing product improvement content including tech alerts, updated field procedures and work instructions.
Supports operations on technical troubleshooting related to hardware/software/procedural management of change, supports HazId/HazOp, procedural reviews.
Facilitates and support the Field Operations learning and development program.
Lean Lead the Wireline Lean process (Including productivity analysis) in collaboration with the GZ Lean team.
Logging Knowledgebase, maintain a library of historical jobs, providing offset information and Best Practices for field specific operations, in collaboration with the IES team.Qualifications:
Experience & Education
REQUIRED
Bachelors degree in engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent experience
10+ years of oilfield Wireline experience
PREFERRED
Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting and change management.
