Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all engineering and technical activities related to construction projects. Ensure that all technical components are aligned with project goals and timelines.
Provide technical supervision and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring the quality and accuracy of technical deliverables.
Manage the preparation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure that all technical activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate technical requirements and
resolve issues.
Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project demands and deadlines.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in the technical office.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum
of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in technical and engineering roles.
Education: A
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in construction and engineering software, including AutoCAD, Revit,
and project management tools.
Leadership:
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring
technical teams.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey
complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical and
efficient solutions.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and quality of technical
work.
