Job Purpose:
Project managers are responsible for planning and overseeing software and web projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. They ensure the successful completion of all software projects and oversee the people performing work on the projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and study the requirements and search for appropriate and modern technical solutions.
- Create comprehensive documents, plans and reports for projects Develop.
- Monitor project deadlines, budgets and various activities.
- Evaluate projects periodically and solve problems that hinder achieving goals.
- Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software developers.
- Planning the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance.
- Assembling and leading the project team.
- Participating in and supervising each stage of the project.
- Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
- Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible.
- Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all.
- Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
- Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information.
- Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks on the products.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.
- Certification in PMP, CAPM, or Prince 2.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- 2-5 years in software project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
