Role Overview*
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex software and technology projects for our financial services and enterprise clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, business analysts, quality assurance, and client stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor projects from inception to completion.
*Key Responsibilities*:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, and changes effectively using industry-standard project management methodologies
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and manage the translation of business requirements into technical specifications
- Monitor project progress, report on key metrics, and escalate issues or roadblocks to senior management as needed
- Collaborate with the delivery team to resolve technical challenges and optimize processes for efficiency
- Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders
- Provide hands-on technical expertise in software development, infrastructure, or system integration
- Mentor junior project managers and share best practices to improve project delivery continuously
*Required Qualifications*:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex IT/software projects
- Proficient in using project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Technical expertise in software development, cloud computing, or fintech solutions
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred
