About The Opportunity
Eriez Flotation Canada Inc. the flagship office for FLOTATION, is seeking a Technical Sales and Service Engineer. The main function of this role is to service a sales pipeline of opportunities and to convert those opportunities into sales growth for Eriez products within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market. The technical Sales and Service Engineer is responsible for working within the provided strategies for sustainable growth to develop and exploit various sales channels within the MENA region. These strategies include project identification and development, direct coordination with and selling to end-users and/or engineering firms, managing, and retaining relationships with existing or prospective clients, and leveraging Eriez capabilities to provide technical services and test work to support existing and new applications.

Requirements
In this role, you will undertake the following duties, including but not limited to:
Leadership:
- Manage lists of opportunities, targets, and plan to grow Eriez business in the region
- Contribute to periodic sales meetings by summarizing sales opportunities, market analysis and competition monitoring
- Work closely with Eriez product managers or technology experts to ensure optimal upscaling of the equipment sizing to achieve client's objectives in the most cost-effective manner
- Work closely with Eriez worldwide or regional partners to achieve common goals
- Help recruit local staff for commissioning, test work if needed including their contract management
Technical and Operational Support:
- Assist in general management of projects including all commercial and technical aspects, including contract negotiations, procurement,
- Spearhead solving technical problems and recommend innovative solutions to customers
- Conduct and manage in-house and on-site test programs, commissioning including data analysis and reporting
- Build solid relationships with potential clients and engineering firms in the region
- Support existing clients and ongoing projects in the region
- Maximize site visits and prioritize face to face contact with clients
- Contribute to the preparation of, and attend, trade exhibitions and conferences as required
- Assist preparation of process warranties/guarantees
- Sales and marketing including customer presentations and technical sales calls
- Assist, prepare, deliver, and present detailed technical and commercial bids and proposals
- Support engineering department and project team for bidders evaluation process for local fabrication and accomplish FAT if required
- Understanding of local commercial aspects for projects including the ability to assist review general and specific terms & conditions and participate in project contract negotiations
- Support local logistics and importation process
- Travel within MENA region and International travel (50% or more of the time)
About You
- Bachelor's or/and master's degree in engineering: mechanical, chemical, metallurgy or mining, with at least 5 years of related operations/engineering experience
- Effective experience in phosphate beneficiation processes
- Good understanding of equipment design principles
- Multi-lingual: English, Arabic and/or French
- Ability to work closely with client's technical, project, and procurement teams
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and good leadership skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in giving presentations
- Self-motivated, with a capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to use common sense, good judgment, and in-field experience to accomplish goals
- Good computer skills and familiarity with programs such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts
