Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Service Supervisor at MVP Appliances in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide both onsite and online assistance to field and workshop technicians as well as customer service team, ensuring the resolution of complex technical issues.
- Service Management: Review service reports, respond promptly to client requests and complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, forecast needs based on data, and order necessary parts in a timely manner.
- Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate significant product and service issues to higher management or brand principals.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs for the technical team and implement improvements based on data analysis.
- Training and Discipline: Ensure continuous training for technicians, enforce discipline, and promote proper work practices.
- Equipment Management: Ensure the safe and responsible use and maintenance of equipment and tools.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to MVP Appliances guidelines and health and safety measures.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Technical Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of major home appliances.
- Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a similar product category.
- Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects with strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
