Job Brief:
The Technical Support Specialist will oversee and maintain computers hardware and software systems. The specialist will also aid in resolving technical issues concerning customer's accounts and/or company software.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced IT support to internal employees to fulfil requests and troubleshoot issues with desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral devices.
- Support internal employees for any Application issue they are facing and escalate issue to the concerns.
- Assist onsite and remote employees with their computer and software issues with Windows and Macs.
- Provide recommendations for improving Helpdesk processes.
- Escalate any major or unresolved IT issues to IT management.
- Assist with the implementation of policies and processes for company compliance with federal regulations.
- Understand all security policies associated with the network infrastructure.
- Software installation and network troubleshooting
- Perform computers and desktop/laptop setup
- Generate technical reports.
- Support purchase and manage hardware and software inventory.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Coordinate with the fleet department and telematics device vendors for installation, support, and maintenance
- Coordinate with telecommunication companies to handle internet service, SIM Card, and landlines (invoices and services) and maintain CCTV
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Associate Degree (or higher) in computer Science or related field
- Professional and confidential Staff support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Patient and enthusiastic attitude. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft One Drive, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows and anti-virus, CCTV, Door Access control, and other standard PC applications.
- Ability to properly define requests and issues, research solutions, propose ideas, and execute ideas to satisfaction.
- Strong attention to detail. Excellent documentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of end-user computer hardware.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and services including, but not limited to, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, firewall systems, and mobile networks.
