About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and documenting technical requirements, creating comprehensive product documentation, and maintaining up-to-date technical content. This role requires a strong understanding of software development practices, databases, and tools most importantly being familiar with .NET. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work proficiently in both English and Arabic and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Your Main Duties Will Include:

1. Requirement Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure all requirements are clearly documented and communicated to the development team.

2. Technical Documentation:

• Create and maintain user manuals, help pages, and how-to guides.
• Develop detailed documentation for additional product features.
• Write and update product-related documentation, including FAQs, release notes, and technical guides.

3. Testing and Reporting:

• Document test cases and generate test reports.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure all technical documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

4. Content Creation:

• Write articles, whitepapers, and blog posts about the product and its features.
• Ensure all content is clear, concise, and targeted to the appropriate audience.

5. Documentation Maintenance:

• Regularly review and update existing documentation to reflect the latest product updates and changes.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across all technical documents.

6. Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on documentation best practices.

• Utilize your knowledge of software development practices, .NET framework, and databases to understand and articulate technical requirements effectively.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all documentation and communications.
• Exhibit strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Showcase excellent written skills in both English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Familiarity with .NET framework and database technologies.
• Experience using JIRA for project and issue tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with API documentation and tools like Swagger or Postman.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as DevOps.
• Basic understanding of programming languages like C# or Python.
• Experience in creating video tutorials and other multimedia content.
