Job Purpose and Scope :
The Dynamics 365 FinOps Techno-Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, customizing, and maintaining the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations system to meet the organization's financial, operational, and reporting needs. This role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the ERP system's successful implementation and ongoing functionality.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
System Configuration and Customization:
- Customize and configure Dynamics 365 FinOps modules to align with business processes.
- Develop and implement solutions using X++ programming, Power Platform, or other relevant technologies.
- Design and maintain data models, entities, and data integrations.
Functional Analysis:
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into system specifications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where customization is required.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the system's accuracy and reliability.
- Perform system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the Dynamics 365 FinOps system.
- Address and resolve user-reported issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.
- Document change requests, system enhancements, and best practices.
System Optimization:
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and usability.
- Stay updated with the latest D365 FinOps features and industry best practices.
Technical Competencies
- 3-5 Years as Dynamics 365 Techno-Functional consultant
- Should have completed at least 2-3 D365 implementation life cycles.
- Should have strong technical and functional knowledge of Project Management, HR, SCM, and Financial Modules.
- Should have strong understanding of Microsoft flows and integration between modules mainly PSA to Finance. Should be able to create and resolve flows/integration errors.
- Proven experience in implementing and customizing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Proficiency in X++ programming, Power Platform, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong understanding of financial and operational processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
