POSITION PURPOSE:
Purpose for this position is to help D&TS/SPG deliver greater value for Mubadala by increasing the maturity of D&TS operations and services through appropriate governance and project management.
Role Description
Key responsibilities for this role are:
- Develop and implement technology strategy & governance frameworks
- Support establishing a service governance framework and ensure the SLAs and KPIs are met
- Conduct research to identify technology leading practices relevant to financial services industry (SWH)
- Oversee key IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements
- Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and contribute to the technology goals
- Review the IT portfolio to ensure the project managers are adhering to the defined standards and processes
- Escalate the risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholder in a timely manner
- Provide regular reporting to the management on the portfolio performance
- Provide expert consulting services to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technological innovation and efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS AND RELEVANT ROLES/EXPERIENCE
- 4-6 years of experience in technology governance and IT project management
- Previous technology consulting experience, with a top-tier firm (Big3 or Big4)
- Experience in implementing technology initiatives
- Strong understanding of technology risk management and compliance
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and data and analytics skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Arabic speaker (preferred)
- Experience in ServiceNow (preferred)
