Job Description
- Strong technical background experience in railway telecom systems/sub-systems (SW/HW) such: PIS,PA, MSN,CLK,VR, FD,CCTV,UPS, RA, IT/TEL, Switches L1/L2, routing protocols, FO, CC , AFC and SCADA system.
- Assisting technical team in reviewing, analyzing technical design documentations and system engineering drawings.
- Able to manage, supervise, coordinate and solve all technical issues for telecom sub-systems during the implementation phase.
- Supporting and senior telecom engineer and other team during deliver the contractual deliverables according to the approved design, technical specs, and quality standards, installation and T&C activities.
- Fully understand the telecom systems and sub-systems network connectivity in railway/transport industry, and responsible to provide different technical reports: progress, system's failure, snag clearance and punch list.
- Collaborating closely with the project team to deliver the contractual deliverables according to the approved design, technical specs, and quality standards.
- Support project team on technical issues on site (FAT/SAT) till closure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications / electronic engineering.
- General overall experience (10) years including:
- 6 years of professional experience in the same field.
- 4 years of experience in management and implementation of similar projects (i.e. metro, rail) and in a similar position.
- Will have knowledge of the main railway systems used in the Metro and the safety requirements for the designs, according to international standards and accepted best practice.
- Arabic: Native proficiency would be an advantage
- English: Bilingual proficiency
- Strong communications, coordination, and management skills
