Job Description
Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), correspondence etc. to take into consideration all the project details during execution.
Prepare RFIs and send them to the project consultant to obtain missing information and resolve all conflicts.
Communicate with concerned departments to prepare the general procurement plan.
Prepare a monthly procurement and financial plan to determine the site needs for the upcoming month.
Issue the budget variation request to obtain approval.
Communicate with the consultant to obtain the approval and then share the workshop drawings with all the concerned parties in the site.
Conduct estimated quantity survey to determine the quantity of material that need to be purchased or procured.
Perform design review for awarded project and confirm all related calculations
Request technical catalogs from equipment suppliers
Request samples from materials suppliers
Prepare technical submittal
Submit technical submittals & samples to clients / consultants and follow up till complete approval
Review design drawings prepare workshop drawing
Submit workshop drawings for approval
Review coordination of drawing with other activates and departments
Assist in solve any technical problems that appear in the project during project execution
Attend some meetings with clients and consultants to solve technical problems in the projects
Support during commissioning and startup which link with our projects
Communicate with consultancy offices for designing Mechanical Works
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile:
Education: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2 - 4 Years of experience
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
Language: Excellent Command of Arabic & English language skills.
Technical Tools : AutoCAD is a must - Revit is a plus.
