Role Description
The Tendering Engineer will be responsible for preparing and submitting quotations for lighting projects, analyzing customer requirements, and coordinating with the procurement and electrical engineering teams to ensure that project specifications are met. This is a full-time on-site role located in Riyadh.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of tender documents for electrical projects, including accurate cost estimates, detailed technical specifications, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure that tender submissions are aligned with client requirements and project specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive research to source electrical components, equipment, and materials from various suppliers, ensuring the competitiveness and completeness of tender proposals.
- Undertake site visits to assess project requirements and conditions, providing critical input to the tendering process.
- Oversee the development of project proposals and related documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the lighting design team as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in both electrical engineering and lighting design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, tendering, and project management.
- Having 1-2 yeas of experience into lighting field / Lighting Control or similar industry.
- Having good contacts with Consultant, Interior Designer, End User and Government projects.
- Having good Knowledge of Dialux
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts, including lighting design.
