The Junior or Mid-Level Functional Tester will be responsible for assisting in the testing of software applications to ensure that they meet functional requirements and quality standards. This role includes creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results while collaborating with the development and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and execution of functional test cases based on requirements
- Document test results, track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues
- Participate in user acceptance testing and communicate findings with stakeholders
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies
- Collaborate with team members in a dynamic environment to ensure software quality
- Maintain test documentation and ensure test environments are set up correctly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in functional testing or quality assurance
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience in writing and executing test cases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
