Job Summary:
The Ticketing Manager is responsible for maximizing ticket sales through strategic planning and execution. This role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of all ticketing processes, optimizing revenue while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Ticketing Manager will oversee all aspects of ticketing operations, from sales strategies to customer service, ensuring both operational excellence and increased profitability.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Support Ticketing Projects Director with the development and implementation of strategies to optimize ticket sales across various channels.
- Analyze historical ticket sales to assist in forecasting, ticket pricing and sales statistics.
- Monitor ticket sales activities and regularly prepare reports with key findings for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Support Ticketing Projects Director in the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy for events to maximize revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop pricing strategies that align with Ethara's strategic objectives, maximize ticket revenue and ensure that ticket prices are competitive with other similar events.
- Responsible for generating sales reports and analyzing sales trends, providing insights that help inform decision-making and optimize sales performance.
Ticketing Operations
- Manage ticket sales for all Ethara events, including overseeing ticketing systems, sales, and inventory accuracy.
- Oversee onsite ticketing operations, including sales and access control.
- Communicate with stakeholders (clients, sponsors, partners, and customers) to ensure they are informed throughout the process.
- Build and execute presales on the ticketing system to ensure accurate and trackable sales data.
- Reconcile ticketing revenue, sales, box office, and upsells, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure partner homepages and event landing pages are accurate and optimized to drive sales.
- Collaborate with Event Programs to create and manage event timelines, ensuring they are comprehensive and revenue-maximizing.
Qualifications
- 510 years of experience in ticketing, ideally within the entertainment, events, or sports sectors.
- Preferably with bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to drive performance.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
