We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tiling Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in laying tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces, ensuring precision, quality, and durability in every project. The Tiling Mason will work on both residential and commercial projects and must be proficient in handling various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives.
Measure and mark surfaces to lay tiles accurately according to design specifications.
Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into irregular spaces using hand and power tools.
Lay tiles in a pattern, ensuring even spacing and alignment.
Apply grout and finish joints, ensuring a clean and polished final appearance.
Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on projects.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, including designers, contractors, and other tradespeople, to complete projects on time.
Provide estimates of materials required for projects.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes and standards.
