The Tour Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of all tour operations. This role ensures high-quality customer service and the smooth operation of tours, including logistics, staffing, and customer satisfaction. The Tour Operation Manager will work closely with the sales, marketing, and finance departments to ensure successful tour experiences that meet company standards and customer expectations.
Tour Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and manage detailed tour itineraries, including transportation, accommodation, activities, and meals.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and partners to secure services and negotiate contracts.- Ensure all logistical aspects of tours are arranged and confirmed in a timely manner.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage tour guides and support staff.
Schedule staff for tours and ensure adequate coverage for all tour activities.- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development for tour staff.
Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and addressing issues as they arise.- Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve tour experiences.
Budget and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage tour budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor and control expenses, including tracking payments to suppliers and vendors.- Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management.
Marketing and Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Assist the sales team in converting leads and closing sales by providing detailed tour information and support.- Participate in trade shows, fairs, and other promotional events to represent the company.
Operational Efficiency:
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tour operations.
Monitor and evaluate tour operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.- Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations.
Technology and Tools:
- Utilize tour management software and other tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements to enhance tour operations.Reporting and Documentation
: Maintain accurate records of tours, including itineraries, contracts, and financial documents.
- Prepare regular reports on tour performance, customer satisfaction, and financial results.
Document and report any incidents or issues during tours.

Education
: Bachelors degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience
: Minimum of 5 years of experience in tour operations or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.Skills:
