As the training supervisor, you will be responsible for creating and executing learning strategies and programs to meet the development needs of individuals and the organization. you will implement various learning methods companywide and assess the success of development plans.
Key responsibilities:
Create and execute learning strategies and programs to address organizational development needs.
Implement diverse learning methods such as coaching, job-shadowing, and online training.
Design and deliver learning materials, e-learning courses, workshops, and other training sessions.
Assess the effectiveness of development plans and support employees in maximizing learning opportunities.
Assist managers in developing their team members through career pathing initiatives.
Track training budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors for training services.
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs to tailor learning solutions accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, or a related field.
4-8 years of experience in training, preferably in the retail industry.
Professional certification in human resources and training is a plus.
Skills & competencies:
Proficiency in producing and editing videos for training purposes.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
Strong project management and budgeting skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a sharp business acumen.
Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
Proficient in ms office and learning management systems (lms).
