Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office four times per week or other frequency dictated by the business and once a week remote.
The Role:
As the
Transactions Manager you will work to advance the Corporate goals, Mission and Core values. The Transactions Manager controls the cash in and out cycle in terms of following up on receivables collections and paying dues on time, interacting within the intercompany accounting team for such transactions and supports the management with accurate reports of our cash position to support their daily decisions, implement and comply with company policies and procedures.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate information needs from the Finance Department.
- Develop new financial reports.
- Lead and develop the Stuttgart AP and AR teams.
- Daily oversight of Accounts Receivables Cash applications, supports reconciliation with bank, daily collections, customer invoice discrepancy resolution, ensure timely invoicing of customers.
- Daily oversight of Accounts Payables accurate daily /monthly invoice posting, resolve discrepancies, timely and accurate communication to stakeholders on payment related items
- Assist the controller and CFO with accounting and reporting issues as well as system development.
- Documentation / Research / Special Projects
- Monitor compliance with GAAP (US and Local) and company policies and procedures
- Review and evaluate various balance sheet and income statement accounts to determine whether the accounts are correctly stated and initiate any changes needed in the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly intercompany transactions with accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Search for new and improved ways of conducting financial processes; maintain up-to-date policies / procedures; current on accounting pronouncements.
Additional Job Description
Your Skills & Abilities
- BSc of Accounting, or Business or any related field (minor accounting)
- 6-8 years of experience in Accounting Field
- Accounting certificates are preferable (CMA or CPA are preferable)
- Minimum 2 years of leading team is preferable
- SAP knowledge and/or similar ERP
