Transformation Lead within the Operations Transformation & Support, AP Health function.
The main duty of a Transformation Lead is to plan, lead and perform diagnostic analysis by applying analytic techniques on the global operational transformation engagements. Transformation Lead will focus on alignment of operational processes and preparation of the business cases for select transformation projects. She/he will be responsible for the timely implementation and delivery of assigned projects. These areas of responsibility will include project planning, coordination with internal/external stakeholders, project reporting, and handover to the business at project completion.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, and organizational transition;
- Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities
- Challenge existing organization and processes by performing as-is assessments and propose recommendations and action plans to local management
- Understand the current state and identify impacts to people, processes and technology as result of change
- Encourage the adoption of changes within organizational culture and directly support the teams as a true business partner to implement
- Work with local management, operational teams, and all departments to define priorities and coordinate activities and projects (including methodology, organization, governance and reporting)
- Implement continuous improvement mindset in all areas, capture and share successful practices, recognize improvement ideas of employees and contribute to a higher level of business, process and capability maturity within the teams
- Accountable for providing the visibility, follow-up and roadmap of Transformation projects
- Monitor Transformation project schedules, methodology, quality of the deliverables, budgets, KPIs and ensure communication to local and external stakeholders
- Leverage resources across local and global teams in order to drive the key transformational projects while minimizing business disruption and business risks
- Undertake necessary business initiatives and identify decisions needed to capture opportunities and mitigate risk exposure
- Develop self and maintain knowledge in relevant fields at all times.
- Proactively participate and contribute to department strategies.
- Ad hoc project work as and when required.
Requirements
- To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/ experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Project Specialist, Senior Technical Specialist or Technical Specialist role
- Project Management qualification and/or experience in leading and managing projects and initiatives
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a customer focused environment
- Results driven and solution oriented, ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with focus on high quality outputs
- Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders at a senior level
- Demonstrates strong quantitative and analytical skills and aptitude
- Strong computer skills are essential (high level skill with Microsoft Office products to include: PowerPoint/Excel/Word, as well as Outlook)
- Works effectively on own initiative
- Maintains a positive attitude in the face of adversity and competing priorities, ability to work well under pressure
- A good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies will be considered a plus
