PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Travel Administrator, you'll support project implementation by providing travel booking support for all project personnel flying in and out of Lebanon. This includes making flight and hotel bookings by liaising with project management regarding consultants mobilisation, demobilisation, and regular rotational leave travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Making flight and hotel bookings for project consultants
- Liaise with project team with consultants mobilisation, demobilisation, and regular rotational leave travel requirements.
- Utilising the company online travel booking system
- Out of hours support for emergency travel bookings and responding to urgent travel inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of all project travel user profiles, liaising with the travel agent on required changes
- Escalate and resolve issues with travel agent relationship manager as required
- Compile travel supporting documents for audit purposes
- Reconciliation of travel agent bi-monthly Statement of Account (SOA)
- Utilise existing and negotiate new ARK corporate rate agreements with hotels in Lebanon. Project event organisation, including venue bookings
- Provide induction and/or ad hoc travel training for project staff
Requirements
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Prior experience working in a similar role leading on travel bookings
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure adhering to tight travel booking deadlines
- Ability to set priorities, organise time efficiently and work independently on several tasks simultaneously
- Experience working with sensitive information, with the ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
