Job Description

Job Summary:

The Travel Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of air travel bookings for TAR Project. This role involves liaising with airlines, travel agencies, and candidates, overseas recruitment agencies to ensure seamless travel arrangements, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Booking Management:

Coordinate and manage flight bookings for candidates and staff according to project requirements.

Research and compare flight options to secure the best fares and itineraries.

Handle changes and cancellations of tickets while optimizing costs.

2. Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to travel bookings.

Assist clients in understanding their travel options and provide recommendations tailored to their needs.

3. Documentation and Compliance:

Ensure all travel documents, such as itineraries and tickets, are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

Stay informed about airline policies, fare rules, and travel restrictions to advise clients appropriately.

4. Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of flight bookings, cancellations, and changes.

Generate reports on travel costs and usage for budgeting and analysis purposes.

5. Collaboration:

Work closely with travel agencies, airlines, and vendors to streamline the booking process.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure all travel arrangements align with the organization's policies and procedures.

6. Troubleshooting and Support:

Address any travel-related issues that may arise before or during a journey,

providing solutions promptly.

Assist with emergency travel changes and rebooking as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in travel coordination or a similar role is highly

desirable.

Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and travel booking software.

Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Knowledge: Familiarity with airline industry standards, including fare structures and travel regulations.
