1. Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within the travel industry is preferred. This ensures familiarity with ticketing systems, airline procedures, and hotels bookings , Experience working in online travel agencies and knowledge of the Gulf market

2. Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are crucial for interacting with guests and ensuring their travel needs are met. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for dealing with customers, airlines, hotels, and other service providers.

3. Knowledge of Travel Industry: A good understanding of the travel industry, including airlines, airports, hotels, and transportation services, is essential. This includes knowing how to navigate booking systems, understanding fare structures, and being aware of travel regulations.

4. Organization and Attention to Detail: The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and pay close attention to details is important in this role. Coordinating travel arrangements requires careful planning and ensuring accuracy in ticketing, bookings, and logistics.

5. Problem-Solving: Travel arrangements can sometimes encounter unexpected challenges or changes. The ability to think on your feet, adapt to unforeseen circumstances, and find solutions to problems is essential.

6. Time Management: Efficiently managing time and meeting deadlines is crucial to ensure that travel arrangements are made in a timely manner and that guests needs are met promptly.

7. Language Skills: Depending on the clientele, proficiency in one or more foreign languages may be beneficial, particularly if guests from different countries are served.

JobRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business Administration or related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience as corporate travel manager

Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and currencies

Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills

Well-organized and reliable

An analytical mind with strong business acumen

Customer-oriented approach

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
