We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a commercial vehicle, transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
Safely transport goods and materials over long distances to various destinations, ensuring cargo is delivered on time.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the truck, including checking tires, oil, brakes, and other critical systems to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo as needed, ensuring that all loads are properly secured.- Follow all company and government regulations regarding transportation and vehicle operations, including maintaining logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate safety gear and ensuring that the vehicle is operated safely at all times.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel consumption.
A valid UAE driving license- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving trucks, preferably with experience in long-haul or cross-country driving.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with state and federal transportation laws and regulations.
Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to tight schedules.- Good verbal communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
