About the role
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for maintenance support of Qatar Airways IT Public & Private cloud Network & Security infrastructure services. Ensure the Network infrastructure systems are designed and configured in compliance to Corporate IT standards. The successful candidate will carry out technical management, administrative tasks and other proactive actions in ensuring the Network & Security infrastructure is reliable, uninterrupted and secured.
Other operational duties would include:
Design & implement F5 load balancers.
Hands on experience in migrating other load balancer vendors to F5 Load Balancer.
Design and implement Load balancing rules using industry best practices.
Strong understanding of F5 network solutions to include LTM, APM and application delivery with basic ASM.
Hands on experience with F5 with scripting using TCL, rules.
Expert level knowledge & experience on Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama, Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco FTD and ASA.
Expert level knowledge & experience on Checkpoint firewall with extensive experience on configuration of rule, managing and deployment.
Added benefit of knowledge on Azure Networking solution implementations, VNET, NSG, Hub and Spoke, Express route VPNs and UDR.
Good knowledge on automation platforms like Terraform & Ansible for automating network & security related operational tasks.
Support the 24x7 operations and provide technical support for the Network & Security Infrastructure by attending to the Incidents, problems as well as performing system administrative activities.
Provide root cause analysis report with permanent resolution/workaround for high severity incidents within defined SLA.
Ensure preventive maintenance are conducted by the vendor at regular intervals and document reports for future reference.
Maintaining technical documentation including SOP, Administration and configuration documents.
Ensure all established IT infrastructure library (ITIL) processes and procedures are implemented and adhered for standardized Services and support across IT platforms, to enhance and improve IT service provisions, stability and predictability.
Knowledge on the network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP etc.).
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis.
Provide technical consultation and guidance to peers, other technical teams, and application development/ support team.

Qualifications
About You
Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computers/ Communications/ Electronics.
Certifications in Azure Networking, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure/Security, CCNP Enterprise/Security, CCSA, Fortinet NSE 4, Palo Alto PCNSA will be added advantage.
Minimum 10+ years of job-relevant experience required.
