An exciting role is waiting for an experienced Turbine and Auxiliaries Specialist. Our client is a well-known power generation company. The position will report to the Senior Technical Expert.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducts planned inspections for quality assurance and approved QCPs.
- Ensures technical activities are incorporated within the outage program.
- Performs root cause analysis to support in resolving difficult technical issues and to provide investigative expertise.
- Ensures highest standards are implemented through appropriate policies and practical implementation on turbine and auxiliary plants.
- Enhances maintenance strategies and philosophies by using RCM/FMECA methodologies.
- Leads the development and implementation of technical documents based on engineering policies.
- Well versed on standard policies and procedures based on ISO standards
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Expert in steam turbines and auxiliaries, turbine construction and rebuild techniques, and power plant technology.
- Knows how to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in turbine and 5 years power plant experience in O&M and technical services.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Professional Institution membership / Evidence of Professional Competence is essential.
