Position Overview: NCH is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across healthcare channels in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and overseeing the sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in pharmaceutical sales and a deep understanding of the UAE healthcare market.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute annual business plans, including long-term strategic plans, to achieve sales and collection targets across nutraceutical and pharmaceutical products across the UAE.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand market share, and develop sales strategies to gain a competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with the medico-marketing team to design and implement effective sales campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches.
Key Account Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and other stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Design Business Development Agreements (BDAs) with key retailers to amplify sales growth, create win-win solutions and deepen partnerships
- Develop organizational maps and joint business plans to grow key accounts and enable successful partnerships.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to drive high levels of performance.
- Set individual sales and collection targets for team members and monitor their performance, providing clear KPIs and necessary support and training.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the senior management team on a regular basis.
- Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the sales team.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with finance, marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth deliveries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business or Sciences; MBA is a plus.
- 12+ years of Sales Management experience.
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical products, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams, set clear objectives, and provide guidance to achieve targets.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive market penetration and increase revenue.
