Job Description

Job Summary:

As a UI/UX Designer, your key duties will include creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas, designing graphic elements such as icons and logos, and building navigation components that enhance the user experience. You will also be responsible for conducting user research and testing to validate design decisions and iteratively improve the product.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of design principles and best practices, as well as proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite. Additionally, you should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers and technology to gather and evaluate user requirements, ensuring that design solutions align with business goals and user needs.
Develop visual representations of design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to communicate design concepts and provide clarity for team members.
Design intuitive graphical user interface elements, such as menus, tabs, and widgets, that enhance user experience and usability.
Create UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like, enabling the team to visualize design solutions and iterate effectively.
Generate original graphic designs, such as images, sketches, and tables, that align with brand identity and meet user needs.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, such as responsiveness, through testing and iteration to ensure optimal user experience.
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback to refine design solutions and optimize usability.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is typically required.
At least 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, including user research, interaction design, and visual design, is typically required. Experience with a variety of design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or InVision, is highly preferred.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of design skills, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. The portfolio should showcase a range of design projects and demonstrate the ability to create intuitive, user-centered designs.
Knowledge of web design standards, usability principles, and design best practices. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development frameworks is a plus.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to gather user requirements, understand business objectives, and design effective solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify UX issues, analyze user feedback, and iterate design solutions.
Familiarity with design thinking and human-centered design methodologies, as well as a deep understanding of the user experience and user interface design principles.
Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
