About The Role
As part of the MME Unit Business Management Systems (BMS) Advisory team you will be responsible for advising and supporting project teams across the Unit on the implementation of the company's BMS. You will support Unit and Divisional management in establishing and implementing BMS processes and procedures and look to build upon these striving for an environment of high quality and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
- Provide BMS advice and support across the Unit.
- Communicate on new processes or requirements along with providing advice on the implications to working practices.
- Ensure that BMS plans and reports are prepared and effectively communicated across the Unit.
- Review BMS compliance and report any concerns/issues to the Divisional and Unit management.
- Establish and maintain selected Unit and Divisional BMS Records, and input to the Unit monthly BMS report for approval by the Unit BMS Manager.
- Collaborate with the Divisional General Managers so that the monthly, six monthly and annual reviews of the BMS performance are carried out and recorded in the Divisional records.
- Support internal and external audits, ensure effective and timely responses, and follow up on audit findings.
- Identify training needs and liaise with the Regional BMS Manager.
- Identify and communicate any BMS process gaps or issues to the Unit BMS Manager.
- Develop and edit Intranet (Compass) content for BMS.
Candidate specifications
- Educated to Diploma level but a Degree level education would be advantageous
- Experience of implementing projects and/or implementing ISO Management Standards, e.g. ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001, ISO37001 and ISO27001.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A team player with positive, flexible and helpful disposition and a make it happen attitude.
- Good organisational, administrative and communication skills.
- Able to relate to people of diverse cultural backgrounds at all levels
